At Elements, we’re lucky to have built a reputation and client base that allows us to run our own facilities. That includes an office fully staffed with a managing director and a coordinator, a workshop of contract welders, painters, model makers, engineers, and technicians, and our own storage and testing site outside London — the perfect space for those crucial test days.
Workshop
Our workshop is kitted out to handle large builds — we’ve even made a full-size train carriage in-house. We have the capacity to work on multiple productions at once, from a sticky shop for action props to a workshop floor with two-storey clearance for taller projects. And moving all this gear is easy thanks to our own fleet of branded vehicles, so we can get everything to set quickly and be instantly recognisable at tech parking.
Yard
Outside Guildford, we’ve partnered with a space to store our bigger rigs and have free-range to use fields and woods for explosives testing. For bigger explosions or complicated strafe runs — like a ULD from Lockerbie — we have the capability to run a test day so the team and production can see exactly how it will work and make any tweaks needed. It means everyone feels confident, safe, and happy with the results.
Office
Our office is the hub that keeps everything running smoothly — coordinating, script reading, scheduling, costing, and 3D printing. With Elements, you’re not just getting a skilled effects crew; you’re also getting an experienced office team who keep all our projects organised, making sure even the trickiest schedules stay on track, and everything is ready to go when the shoot day arrives.
